let it snow!

Third Saturday in a row with snow today. Me and my sister went out and threw snowballs at each other this morning. My daddy says that this is a freak weather occurrence, whatever that means. He grew up in the midwest and lived for quite a few years in Chicago, so this is not anything new to him. But he's an old fart, so his bones don't cooperate as well on cold days such as this.

We had a weird snowstorm today. It started last night, and snowed all morning with a couple of inches accumulation. (My daddy is teaching me all these big words). But by this afternoon it had all melted. For a while there was sun-snow. My daddy says when the sun is out while its raining it means the devil is kicking his wife. Even Beelzebub isn't evil enough to hit his woman. But I know its just an old superstition. Wonder what it means when the snow shines during a snow storm. Hmm?

My daddy read in the paper today that 49 states had snow on the ground. The only exception was Hawaii. Cowabunga!!

Well it's been a while since I blogged. So I better come up with something good to talk about other than snow. Everybody has it, nobody wants to read about it. How about some great summer songs to get you thinking about warmer weather. What's everyone's favorite summer song. My daddy heard me talking about this and he's shouting at me a couple of great ones. I guess I'll add them to my list. So without further ado, here's my top ten summer songs (with links to youtube videos). (And don't forget to check out my website:
