Happy Sunday morning everyone. It's actually a little after noon here in Suffolk, Virginia, but I figured it's still morning in most of the country. Speaking of which, I'm glad everyone is okay in Hawaii. And let's say a quick prayer to mother nature, asking her not to shake the world so violently. First Haiti, and now Chile. Earthquakes are scary, scary stuff. My daddy says he grew up in tornado alley and is fascinated by violent weather, but he says earthquakes come without any warning, the earth opens up and swallows things. How scary is that?
So on the solemn note, I give you a long overdue music blog. My plan after posting all those lists on my web page - Bubby Mac's Kewl Beans - was to make weekly blogs about new music my daddy and I come across. So it's about time I get that started. While surfing about the web, I ran across a kewl band this morning who weren't on my list. The Soft Pack are from San Diego (speaking of surfing). This is great stuff. My daddy says it sounds like old 60's garage rock. I guess that's a kewl thing. We don't own a garage, so I don't really know what that's all about. But I do know that this song rocks. Kewl video too. Check it out:
The Soft Pack - Answer To Yourself
Keep on smiling and rocking.
Until next time, this is Bubby Mac, signing out.
